I’m very flexible in my training program, catering to the exact requirements of each individual. I can teach the whole wing chun curriculum from start to finish, or I can help you design your own personal training plan. Not only do I offer lessons at my full time school, but I can also teach in the privacy of your own chosen location.
Besides the normal training programs, I also conduct seminars for groups, and offer a 1-day introduction to wing chun. If you are not sure about wing chun, or want to learn more about a particular wing chun lineage – say, the Gary Lam method – this is a great way to try before you commit yourself to investing time & money on an art you may not enjoy.
Outline of my teaching services.
1) Complete wing chun syllabus, from start to finish.
2) Any selection or part of the wing chun syllabus. For example, you may have already learnt all the hand forms, and you only want me to teach you the Muk yan jong form, or the Dragon pole set, etc.
3) Any aspect of the martial arts. Some people only want to learn the self-defense aspect of the martial arts, so I can focus on only that aspect, which is much quicker and more effective in a shorter time frame than learning the complete system.
4) Introduction to wing chun or a particular lineage of wing chun. This is a 1-day introduction, with lots of actual wing chun practice and a Q & A session at the end. This day workshop is lots of fun, and will answer all your questions regarding this beautiful art before you decide to start. Maybe you are already learning another lineage of wing chun, but you are interested in the Gary Lam or Yip Man method. I can introduce you to the method of your choice so, which would greatly help your own wing chun development. Again, it’s another 1-day’s hands-on induction.
5) Seminars. I can conduct a 1 or 2 day seminar for your own private group, either at my class or your own club, on a wing chun topic of your choice.
6) Gwohsau (cross hands) training. Most wing chun practitioners would know about chisau\chisao, but not many has had much experience in gwohsau. With gwohsau training, your wing chun hands will become ‘alive & fluid’, flowing from tool to tool.
